Hike Description

After a 40-minute drive from the pick-up point, we arrive at the parking area. Before setting off, we conduct an equipment check and make any necessary adjustments. A brief safety briefing follows, covering trail conditions, key information, and useful hiking tips to ensure a smooth and enjoyable adventure.

Starting from the upgraded parking area, we follow a tractor road through diverse landscapes. The trail winds through a forested section, up to an open hilltop with panoramic views, before descending towards Ravndal. Continuing south, we alternate between open terrain and coniferous forest until we reach Kløvli Scout Cabin by Sjurstjørna. Here, we light a fire and enjoy a warm meal and something hot to drink.

After the break, we cross a grassy field and follow a scenic forest trail, circling Ulvanuten before ascending into the mountains. As we make our way along the ridge, breathtaking views unfold, leading us to Eikefjellet. The final ascent to the summit is a true highlight, and a short detour takes us to the highest point, where a stunning panoramic vista awaits.

The descent is initially steep but soon transitions to solid ground. A well-placed bench along the way offers the perfect spot for a short break. The remainder of the hike follows tractor roads, gradually leading back to the asphalt road and the parking area.
